Monday Night Football, ALDS game in New York

It’s not too often that we can say that Monday is a great day, however with the Major League Baseball playoffs still open between the Cleveland Indians and the New York Yankees, and the Monday Night Football match-up between the Dallas Cowboys and the Buffalo Bills, there is plenty of action at our featured online sportsbooks to keep you entertained for the evening. With the New York Yankees rallying back last night, the series remains at New York tonight, however I’m counting on the Indians to finish off the Bronx Bombers tonight, as the Cleveland Indians seem to have Yankee starting pitcher Chien-Ming Wang’s number in this series. Paul Byrd gets the start for the Tribe tonight, and it will certainly be interesting to see whether or not Wang can get over the pounding he took in the first game of the playoffs. Going to one of my favorite online sports betting sites at, I’m all lined up for the game tonight, and can’t wait to get off work to check out the action.

As for the Monday Night Football game, I would imagine anyone heading to one of our top sportsbooks at wagering on this game will have a hard time taking anything but a Dallas win in this one. Dallas has looked so good to start the season, as is apparent by their 4-0 record, but what really stands out is the way QB Tony Romo handles the team as a relatively young player. Watching this guy make plays is exciting, and he is easily comparable to Brett Favre in his glory days. Buffalo does have the advantage being at home tonight, but with a relatively anemic offense and a not-so-great defense, my bet is on the total points, as I would imagine a fair amount of scoring to take place, at least enough to beat the spread. With Trent Edwards at QB for the Bills coming out of Stanford (who no doubt is just as thrilled with his Alma-Mater’s victory over USC as most of us are) it will be a game with a couple of twenty-something quarterbacks trying to prove themselves to their respective fans.

With this being potentially the last MLB playoff game until Friday, make sure to get down to one of our best online sportsbooks here at If you haven’t had a chance to scope out some of our top sportsbooks, check out the featured sportsbook reviews on our site, and choose the right website for your sports betting needs.
