After a much needed relaxing weekend, it’s once again back to the daily grind for all us working-class folks, however at least it’s nice to know that at the end of the day, you can come home, relax, and watch a little baseball or play a little bit with all the action available at the top sportsbooks and casino websites online. Saturdays are great day for betting on sports. Today is certainly no exception to that rule, as there is a whole host of betting chances spread out across MLB baseball, which has plenty of great match-ups in store for sports fans. Another weekend has finally come around, and I’m happy to say that it’s Friday night, and all I have to do tonight is kick back, relax and enjoy some online betting at one of our best sites here at CasinoReview.org. Now I’ve been playing in the casino and betting on sports at Superbook.com for about 3 years now (read the review of Superbook), and I always know what to expect when making my way over to this site. For Friday, though I may be a bit of a party pooper, I’ve decided to have my Friday night action on the online casino tables, rather than go out and blow all my money at an overpriced bar with no chance to get any money back. So the first thing to be done after coming home from work is to drop into the online sports book, and place a few wagers for tonight Major League Baseball games before hopping into the casino and trying out my luck.

I’m making a point to check into wagering on the Subway Series, and hoping for the New York Mets to win at least once today against Yankees. A real gamble is being made on Chan-Ho Park tonight, who hasn’t pitched poorly this year, but has always been known to be unreliable in a clutch situation. Run support is obviously not coming his way, but hopefully the Angels struggle in the real Los Angeles tonight, at least enough to make my online sportsbook bet pay off this evening. It’s another day closer to the weekend, and what better way to pass the time than to get down to a couple of online sportsbooks and casinos, and get in on another great day for baseball! The Finals game in the College World Series between Georgia and Fresno State, ended last night with a victory for Fresno State, however with the host of great Major League baseball action, sports betting fans will find a bunch of treats at the top sportsbooks reviewed here at CasinoReview.org for today as well. I have generally said for a while that I felt comfortable saying that the Georgia Bulldogs would win this College World Series, however last night was a different story, as the underdog (no pun intended) turned out to be a bigger advantage than having the better team on the stat sheet. Georgia came with MLB-caliber players, good pitching, and a credible record of being in the CWS, however Fresno State came with heart, and their equally productive offense to prove once again that the West in coming to be the best in NCAA baseball.

There was one great game that I was most interested in wagering on this evening; namely the contest with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays looking to sweep the Florida Marlins in the third and final game of the series. Some days, everything just goes right. You hop online, and head to a favorite online sportsbook to take out a few wagers, and within a few hours, you’ve got extra money in your online account. Other days, things don’t turn out so well. Unfortunately for myself, Wednesday has gone a little bit off-kilter for my online sports betting, and I’m certainly hoping that everyone else faired a little better than did I after today’s baseball-filled action on our best online sportsbooks. For wagering action last night, I chose to go with a couple of parlay bets, after winning a little extra cash on Tuesday night and having a bit of change to throw around. Heading to one of our best online sports betting sites at Oddsmaker.com (read the review of Oddsmaker.com), I threw down the first wager of the day, taking the Yanks and Diamondbacks to win, along with the L.A. Angels. Silly Angels, and their losing to Washington! Further, Roy Oswalt couldn’t hold my second parlay together, as the Rangers just clipped the Astros 3-2 in the intrastate contest.

For the next wager of the day, my worst-in-the-Majors Seattle Mariners would be first on my list to be beat tonight by the Mets�and look at that, they did! The irony to this being of course, that my only plus to the day was the money earned on the Mariners giving up 8 runs to New York, which makes me a terrible fan. The baseball gods certainly do work in mysterious ways, as this game, along with Tampa just crushing Florida 15-3 makes for a small consolation to my other, bigger losses). If anything is to be learned out of all this, it’s that small bets do pay off, even if you’re on the losing end. Placing just 5 dollar wagers on each bet, 10 dollars between two parlays doesn’t seem so bad in the long run, and perhaps it’s time to stray a little from parlay wagering online.

Such is the life of online sportsbook wagering. You win some and you lose some, however, for this writer, as long as the wins come before the losses it really makes little difference to me. I love betting online on Major League Baseball, even if some days are better than others. Home ballpark counts for something here, so I’m taking L.A. in this one, hoping that the Dodger line-up can get something going at home against the Sox, who have struggled on the road.

With the last wager of the evening, it seems as though a parlay wager is in order just to mix things up. I like the in-state match-up between the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Florida Marlins, and Tampa Bay looks good for this game tonight, with J.P. Howell looking to go 6-0 on the year with an E.R.A. hovering right around three. Throwing in Milwaukee to beat the Braves, I’ve realized that I’ll probably get burned on this wager, as choosing the favorites across the board seldom works to my betting favor. However for five bucks, it’ll be an interesting trial and error. So now all that’s left is the waiting game, as my online sportsbook bets have been placed, and the afternoon’s games are just about to begin. Moving along to another key baseball game in question today, in College World Series baseball action the Fresno State Bulldogs take on the Georgia Bulldogs in Game 1 of the best-of-three series taking place in Omaha. The one thing, and just about the only thing I know about this match-up, is that you should expect some scoring. I’m not sure if you had the opportunity to watch Georgia’s heart of the line-up get going, but I can tell you that there is at least one or two names in there that will be repeated in future Major League games, and they can just flat out hit. Need I say, Gordon Beckham, Rich Poythress and Ryan Peisel. Add these guys, who are all pro-caliber athletes, and a team that is batting .375 collectively in the playoffs�and you have a monster on your hands that is just waiting for 89 mph fastballs coming down the pipe. Fresno State will need lots of good pitching here, so definitely check out who’s on the hill before wagering on these games!

Saturday is yet another great day for baseball, and for betting in online sportsbooks across the internet. Saturday marks another great day in NCAA baseball action, as the Georgia Bulldogs and the Stanford Cardinal go toe-to-toe in College World Series action vying for a bid to the Final series. It is without a doubt that this has been another one of the better CWS of the past few years, and to see these two great baseball clubs get this far is certainly a testament to how good they truly are. I like Georgia all the way by the numbers on the books, but that won’t necessarily mean anything in this game, where being the underdog can sometimes be an advantage. In the other match-up on Saturday night, the UNC Tar Heels look to get back into the Finals series they lost to Oregon State last year, taking on the Fresno State Bulldogs. I will admit that I almost want Fresno State to win this game and the series, if only to see a Bulldogs vs. Bulldogs final. However, the Tar Heels are well-seasoned in this World Series play, so I would have to give the nod to UNC in this one.

As if the College World Series was enough for Saturday, managing to squeeze in a couple of MLB wagers would seem like a great idea to add to the overall baseball excitement for Saturday afternoon. Since it is in fact the weekend, I figured that excess isn’t all too bad, and so continued online sportsbook betting at Betus.com (read the review of BetUS) seemed like a fine idea. With inter-league play still going strong, I threw in a small three-team parlay wager on West Coast teams for Saturday, and came out on top with a few more bucks in my online account.
