More than 20 Bettings Props Offered for NBA All-Star Game

The NBA is amidst its All-Star Gala break of four days with the All-Star game culminating the weekend’s activities Sunday afternoon from New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center.

Bookmakers on many gambling sites such as Bovada, betonline, topbet and are offer an array of different betting props based on players individual performances and team stats during the All-Star game on Sunday.

For example bettors can take the over or under on the point totals for players like LeBron James (28.5) or Kevin Durant (31.5).

On some of the sites there are as many as 20 individual props being offered for Sunday All-Star Game.

Some bettors will look through the various trends on outcomes of the most recent All-Star games, which does not help much in determining this year’s winner as the game is far from being a normal NBA matchup.

However, wagering on some props for individual players could hold better value for many.

Durant has a point total of 31.5, which happens to be his season average to date. He is currently leading the NBA with that average. The 31.5-point total for Durant for this game is close to two points below his scoring average for his past three All-Star games.

Durant has been the featured player over the past three All-Star games; he is the current leader in the race for MVP and the player his fellow West teammates will look to more often than not for their points.

That would seem to make an OVER a better option to take on Durant than trying to decided whether the East or West will cover the spread or if the point total in the game will go OVER or stay UNDER.

Some of the props offered include: Most points by any All-Star, most rebounds, most assists, most made three pointers, first team to 10 points, first team to 20 points, first team to 40 points, first team to score a three-point basket and many others.

The line has the West favored by 3 points and the total an astronomical 293.5.

The West is on both a SU and an ATS roll. The all-time leader in All-Star games is the East at 36-26, but its counterpart the West is 3-0 SU and ATS over the past three games.

The total points was put at 295 for last season’s game and cashed on the UNDER as 281 points were scored.

James Harden, the Houston Rockets guard will start in place of Kobe Bryant who is out injured. Bryant plays the game like a regular season game and his West teammates might miss his competitiveness and fire.

The West towers over the East in size. The tallest member of the East squad is Paul George at 6-9.

Chris Paul should play for the West even though his shoulder has been injured. Dwayne Wade is questionable due to his foot and he would be missed by his East teammates.

Pick: Take the OVER.
